Well I don't mind it a little (as long as it's not a forest) but it's much better when it's totally shaved. After all it shouldn't be too hard for you to shave your area should it?

That is the kind of thing that varies from guy to guy. Some guys like bush, some don't. Anyway guys on the bus, huh, school bus? They probably have never seen a naked girl (in real life) anyway. But if you are worried a bout pubic hair, there is nothing wrong with it, yeah, it needs a little trim now and then. Forget that going bald crap, that s**t itches when it is growing back.

The guys on the bus are in for a shock when they do see a girl naked. We all have pubic hair and it hurts like hell to get rid of. My question for them is if a girl didn't want to see them naked if they have hair would they willing have a stranger por hot wax over them and then have the hair pulled out.

They are not normal. If a guy has any sense, he will not care that a girl has pubic hair, but should be fortunate to see a girl naked at all. They probably have some preconcieved idea that, for a girl to be hot, they can't have any pubic hair. This probably comes from watching too many pornos.

They are not normal! I on the other hand..:] Just kidding. Don't believe everything you (over) hear! There is nothing gross about pubic hair on a women, at least that's what the majority of guys think. So don't worry, besides, it's none of their business what you've got going on!

Hair is gross, period. Doesn't matter if it is on guys or girls. If you take into account that girls most often want guys to go down on them...there is no way that is going to happen if you look like you popped out of a 1970's grainy pornography. Well, odds are a guy would deal with it, but it would take away from the overall experience. Frankly? The less hair, the better. Completely bare is the best, but trimmed or under control is also perfectly doable and workable. Keep in mind, I think the same thing should be expected of guys too.

I don't think it has anything to do with "liking little girls" or "little boys" as Elaine814 suggests. That is a giant straw man argument and not particularly intelligent. There are a giant amount of things that distinguish women from "little girls" aside from public hair, so I think it is assinine to suggest that just because a guy doesn't like a giant hairy bush that he harbors secret (or not so secret) pedophillic urges. That is complete crap. I think the whole thing has to do with two things: First, the simple aesthetics that hair isn't really attractive Most guys don't find facial hair or underarm hair on women attractive...does THAT mean they have a thing for "little girls?" No. Of course not. I don't think hair is any more attractive on guys either and I know other guys who feel the same way. Second, I also think there is a functional reason and that reason is that it isn't hot to be picking pubes out of your teeth, simple as that. Body hair doesn't really serve the function that it did 15,000 years ago. So why are people so up in arms about this?

I think women get pissed about this subject for two reasons:

1) Some women think that any guy that is honest about their aesthetic preference and expresses it must be somehow trying to enforce the patriarchy and dominate poor innocent women. At least that is what a lot of women think. I don't entirely blame them either with the proliferation of eating disorders and other such things. Bottom line, if your public hair is so important to you...DON'T change it. If it costs you the guy you care about, he probably isn't worth it to begin with. Yet, if you are completely inflexible about it, you probably don't care too much about meeting his needs either and that will show.
I don't see this is any different than a woman telling her man, "Honey, I think that hair cut is kind of goofy. Would you consider altering it?" which I have heard girls tell guys ALL the friggin time.
A giant chunk of guys have NO problem altering their image or changing the way they do things because they want to please women...but OH NOEZ...if a guy doesn't want to see Pam Grier's afro on his girl's crotch that means that he likes little girls and is part of the patriarchy. Silly. Just silly.

2) There is a pretty big decent double standard. Nobody bats an eye if a guy has facial hair or body hair. No big deal. With women it is taboo. That kind of gets women pissed off. I don't advocate that double standard and a lot of guys don't either.

In short, I think this should NOT be some giant heated issue. I think women (as well as men) should do whatever the hell they want. It is their body at the end of the day, right? However, I still think body hair is gross, period.I hate cleaning a bathtub and finding a giant clump of hair.

Bottom line is that a guy (or a girl) should probably not have something as trivial as physical appearance be an instant deal breaker if they are getting emotionally and physically close enough to where sex is actually on the table as an option. Any guy who rejects a woman because she has out of control pubes is probably not a great guy any more than a guy who would reject a woman because he "thought she bad bigger breasts."
That is pretty stupid. Yet, if you are in a relationship or close to each other, you should realize that your parnet isn't out to hurt you or be a jerk if they make it clear what they like or don't like. That doesn't mean you have to DO it. A little compromise/middle ground doesn't necessarily hurt, though.

Those were loser guys who watched too much anime and have never seen a naked women before. Chances are, those guys will be lucky if they ever see a pube on a toilet seat, let alone the pubic area of a women!

Most guys are just grateful that you're dropping your nickers in the first place.

These guys on the bus probably have never seen a woman naked in their lives and would give their right arms for the chance, even if she was covered in hair from head to toe.
You need to learn to distinguish between reality and highschool boy bravado.

Almost all the women in porn shave their pubic hair. That isn't because guys love pubic hair on a woman. You shouldn't shave your pubic hair just please guys. You should shave it if that's what you want to do. I'm sure there are still plenty of guys that think pubic hair is really sexy on a woman, but I'm not one of those guys. I've already seen plenty of porn from the 1970's. None of those hairy women do anything for me. I don't think women covered in tattoos are sexy. Britney Spears shaved her head. I didn't think that was sexy. Some things just aren't sexy to me. An abundance of pubic hair is one of them.

I personally will tell u to do what u feel is comfortable for u.

I'm sure they are grossed out by someone who doesn't keep it shaved in trimmed up. The same way with us.......we don't want a guy who is all uncontrollably hairy down there........it's just nasty. And truthfully, you're talking about school boys who have probably only seen naked girls in magazines and online. They all shave theirs.....this is all they've ever seen.
