No it shouldn't hurt more than usual, they may just need to twist the needle slightly and use more pressure when piercing it to get through the skin- and the pain is not bad at all. I had my done when I was 15, 7 years ago and I absolutely love it!!!! You don't need to show it off to anyone else so ignore other answers regarding strtch marks and belly buttons and you don't need to have a trim and taut six pack to have it pierced.

I think it should be fine...really the belly button doesn't hurt. It's just a pinch. U just have to be very careful in keeping it clean b/c your pants will irritate it.

My suggestion, and this what i did and it never got infected. Use peroxide twice a day and Neosporin (sp) twice a day. It just very important when using neospron that you rotate the ring or move it often or the skin will heal around it. Keep a band-aid on it also for as long as it takes to heal (stop hurting and the redness and swelling goes away) Also DO NOT change your ring for about 4-6 mos.

Honestly, getting my ears pierced hurt worse than my belly button. The pain was not bad at all so I dont think it would be any different if you have a stretch mark there, go for it!

A stretch mark is just a place where skin has pulled and was put back any thing that can be made better by cream can't hurt worse. plus your getting a peircing its gonna hurt no matter what. but it may be more prone to infections since it is a strech mark with weaker tissue strands and smaller space for immune system sustances to travel. My sudjeston is to get it healed with cream before you get it done or get a magnet one but if u are self conscious about it I wouldn't pierce it cause that will make it more noticable.

I got mine done and I think it will feel the same. They sqeeze the spot tight, and its not that bad. It hurts for 2 seconds. Do listen to what people say if you want it then go for it. Just got to keep it clean. ONLY use antibactirial soap like dail. Wash it like 5 times a day. And when you shower wash the belly LAST, wash your hands with the dail first to get the other soap off, and try not to were clothes to close to it. dont use peroxide, they will tell you why when you get it done. But anyway it should feel the same. and the pain you went through having the baby at least this only last 2 seconds.. lots of luck,I think you should go for it I love mine

i have had my belly button pierced since i was in 5th grade...the reason my mother allowed this is because i have an 8 inch scar across my stomach from a spleenectomy when i was in 4th grade...my mom could tell i was really self conscious about so she made the suggestion of a naval ring. well, anyway my piercer Q was going to pierce through my scar--but i was like ummmm...how about you just pierce it on the bottom--so in a way i have a uniqueness about my piercing. i wouldn't say that it will hurt anymore or less--here's the trick: 30 minutes before you go, take an 800mg ibuprofen--or it's equivalency, and buy bactine to spray on there a hour or so after you get pierced.

It's just a stretch mark right? not a keloid. The skin maybe a little thicker there, but it shouldn't present a problem. Get it if you really want it. I've always liked them and wanted one, but I wanted to wait until I got my six-pack stomach. Never got the six pack and never got the belly ring.

Stretch marks and belly-button piercings DO NOT compliment each other! Sorry my opinion!

No. Stretch marks are actually a form of scar tissue so, if anything, the piercing will hurt less.

Either way, it happens so fast it will be over before you even have time to wince.

Why would you even want one ? As a man, I think they look lame. And I like belly buttons to be free of attachments !
