You probably have to many things opening at start up. Try taking some off.

From the flick of the switch to final ready desktop your computer is doing a myriad of processes.

1) Firmware bios system testing and initialising memory locations for input/ouput
2) Loading the elementary software components of the operating system
3) Loading peripheral software components necessary for your computer configuration
4) Loading aditional software components you have specified.
5) Loading the user interface(visual desktop).
6) Loading any aditional components you have specified for the user interface.

To be serious about improving performance you need to understand and improve each of these processes combined with a constant housekeeping of your computer software to get the the best compromise between what you need to be productive and what produces the best performance.

I can't tell specifics because even with what you have specified your software needs are not described nor how you see the perfomance or need of you software needs. What I can give you some generalisations.....

1)Examine all settings in your firmware bios for settings to improve performance. For example run a comprehensive test on memory for a week or so then change it to a limted test to improve startup speed.
2)Examine what loads up when the OS loads and see if there are items that can be eliminated to improve performance. A program I use here is "Hijack This" to examine all my start instructions to the OS. I've seen people with a myriad of useless components that are loaded at startup. In my case I have only 8.
3)I have reservations on your "Vista Transformation Pack". To me it's just a bundle of fluff and flashy stuff and has no real association with productivity, I leave that one up to you. It's a balance about what extra is loaded and any extra thats loaded slows things down.
4) Constantly housekeep your system. Every program that you install can poke some startup instructions without you knowing. I take time off and check and make decisions on what is really necessary. If it's a virus checker then it's allowed, if it's some "phone internet home" piece of crap, it's gone.

For me I've seen things just get worse over the years, 8 bit CP/M used to load in half a second off a floppy disk, with a lot of tuning I had Windows 3.1 load in 5 seconds but these days it's so bad I just hit the power button and go off and get a coffee.

I wish you luck.

i agree that there are too many things loading @ boot.
From the start menu go to RUN, type "msconfig", choose "selective start up". At the top of the page click start up. You can uncheck everything on this list. There's nothing there that must run @ boot. They will be accessible when you call for them, not to worry but, once you do they will go back on this list. So, periodic visits here are required to keep it clean. At least that's the way I do it & we have very similar systems. Good luck
