How to put Visa Gift Card Money into paypal account?

Can anyone explain to me how to put visa gift card money into a paypal account? I am stumped right now. And when I try to register it paypal tries to mail me stuff. Do I need to get the stuff from the mail?
Please, only people who have actually been able to add the money to a paypal answer.

You can not add money from a credit card to your PayPal account. What you can do though is add a credit card to your payment sources. You can then buy something and choose the credit card as the source.

Your Visa Gift Cards should be able to be added just like a credit card.

I am not sure exactly what you are asking....
do you want to use the paypal account to add this money from your gift card to your checking account or do you want to use the credit card to make a purchase using paypal?

I dont know how to do the first (add the money to your bank)
if you want to use the money card to fund a purchase (you are paying a seller for what you want)
then when it is time to pay for an item, click alternative funding source and then type in your visa card information.
The money will be taken from your gift card and paid to the other person!
