what the others said is true about the diet vs. lifestyle. But I know what you mean, it is very hard to keep doing it if you are on a very strict diet and there are temptations in your house. I use a free meal approach to help me keep the rest of my week clean food wise. This way works well because it boosts your metab. and gives you a chance to have what you have been craving that week. This way you dont feel like you "fell off the wagon" either. Support buddies work too. You need to find a diet that fits your lifestyle. There are many to chose from. See your family Dr or a nutritionist. They can help you develop and maintain a steady diet.
Also, try dieting with a friend. The buddy system is always a great way to go because you have a support system and don't feel as though you going it alone.
Best of luck!

Forget the word "diet."
Now.....remember this..."lifestyle."
Make it your new lifestyle to eat healthy and exercise. Don't limit yourself too much. Just have smaller portions of the fattening food you crave. A handful of MnM's is not the end of the world and don't get down on yourself so much.
Find a friend who also wants a lifestyle change and do it together!

Stay busy throughout the day. Don't sit around at home where you're likely to have access to alot of food. Also, try eating some of your food with vinegar or dressing that contains vinegar. This should make you feel a bit fuller after small meals.

well i found, that if you have somebody who your doing the diet with, it is a lot easier to stay on track. get a friend, boyfriend/girlfrind whatever to go on the diet with you. both of you make an eating log everyday of what you have eaten, then help eachother figure out ways to keep with the diet, and make ajustments to make it better, easier for you.
having somebody to do the diet with you makes you have someone to lean on when you need support/reasons to keep with it. it makes life SOOO much easier!!

Probably you are on the wrong diet type.
Try the following one, its healthy, balanced, simple, does not make you tired or hungry. It has a simple mtc version too.
Disadvantage is it is slow compared to some crash diets because it actually works, not just reduce water weight.

Make food and exercise changes you can live with forever. Make small changes at first. Step on a scale only once a week, at about the same time (eg: Sunday at noon). Good luck.
