I never had a real problem, but my sister seemed to put on more weight each time my mom bugged her about being overweight.
Eventually she moved away and gone to college and a year later she came back thin as a pin. When there was no pressure, she could do it without a problem.
The best way to lose weight is naturally and at a fairly slow pace. Eat less, healthy and drink a lot of water. Exercise helps too if combined with diet.

Hi, I've been overweight pretty much ever since I was an early teenager. I tried a few different diets, but never really lost that much weight until I tried Sureslim. I lost 22 kilograms on the program in around 5 months! It does cost a bit - but if your mum & dad are that worried, then they won't mind helping you out with the expense!
It starts with a blood test, and a diet is planned especially for you based on that test. There are a few things you MUST eat every day - essential oils & roughage, etc. A couple of secrets are to eat 3 times a day but leaving at least five hours between each meal; do not eat between meals; and drink LOTS of water.
The idea of Sureslim is that it changes your metabolism. If you can stick rigidly to the diet plan, then it will radically change your life! Although they recommend moderate exercise to promote healthy living, I didn't really change my exercise habits (or lack of them!) that much at all! I found gardening to be a relaxing pastime that also kept me moving. You should find something you enjoy & will get you off the couch & moving. Everybody is different!
I've listed the Australian website for Sureslim, but I'm sure you will be able to find the site relevant to your country as well.
I sincerely hope you find what you are looking for. Remember, you shouldn't do this just for mum & dad - but for yourself! You are worth it! (sounds cheesy, I know!)
Good luck with your endeavours!

WEll obiously your parents care about you, they are probably more worried about your health than looks. My sister passed away at 28 yrd old because she was obese and had a heart attack, so there are more to it than just the way people look. There are alot of health problems that go along with being overweight, it's not easy to lose wieght but you will feel better if you do. Good luck

my mom was always trying to get me to lose weight. I'd listen, but not say anything. basically ignore her. eventually I lost weight, but because I wanted to. watch what you eat, balanced meals, portion control, drink lots of water, exercise every day. dad never said much. don't take pills. they're a temporary fix.
