I'm looking how to install the latest Flash Player (I think version 9?) Because I like to go on video sites like youtube and without flash, i can't view the videos. when I click on something to watch, this comes up "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Get the latest flash player. " so I click on the link, and it came up with the bar that says "Instal ActiveX" so i click on it, and the install Flash window comes up perfectly fine, but after i click install, nothing happens. I have tried time and time again, but I need a computer whiz to help me with this one. Thanks

thanks you, All About Winston, i did install flash through your site, and it seemed to work perfectly. Then I added youtube into my trusted sites, just as you said, but a window poped up, saying that youtube could not intersect with ActiveX...or something like that. There must be a virus or something because nothing seems to work! Thanks for trying, though!

Do you think it has anything to do with JavaScript turned off? I really don't know what to do....

Not a problem. Instead of trying to install Flash player from Adobe's website, download the flash player and then install it. It is much easier this way. Go to http://www.filehippo.com/download_flashplayer_ie/

Here you will find the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. Once you have downloaded the file, double click it to start the installation. Now, Adobe Flash Player should be installed on Internet Explorer. If you haven't done so already, be sure to add YouTube to your list of trusted sites. This will enable ActiveX and Javascript to run on YouTube's website. From the menu bar, go to Tools > Internet Options > Security tab > Trusted Sites > [Sites] > type "http://www.youtube.com" (without the quotation marks) > [Add] > [Apply] > [O.K.].
