If your camcorder supports a firewire connection and the software can be downloaded from the net for free. You just basically need the cable.

You can also use a TV Tuner card to plug in the coaxial cables to your computer then you can turn any tapes into digital fromat. Try searching "ATI TV Wonder" that is a great TV Tuner card, Ive converted numerous VHS Tapes into digital format, using that method.

you need to get a firewire and then should be able to trasfer content from your camcorder to the computer....just got through Windows Movie Maker...it should be on any computer with XP..If that doesn't work, then call a computer place.

yes but you need the right wires and programs. you can get everything at bestbuy or circuit city.

no, your video would have to be digital in order to load it to a pc
