Do they also come from sheep? Are they even worth trying.

I'm planning a dinner party charity event, the menu completly of unusual ingrediants. Answer if you know and any suggestions if you have them would be appreciated. I've got to prepare and taste each course. Thank You

Rocky mountain oysters are hog testicles.You buy them frozen.When they are thawed enough to seperate,cut the membrane just enough to peel it off.Then you want to slice them in about one quarter inch slices and soak them in salt water over night. This will pull the blood from the meat. rinse the meat in fresh water several times .I use golden dipt breading and deep fry them. When a few of them start to float,they are ready to place on a platter. They taste like tenderloin....

Actually, they are pig testicles-no one eats bull testicles, although some eat calf fries.
They are typically prepared breaded and fried-like chicken or country fried steak-and taste like pork. Very tender and good in my opinion.
