Balance. Our Big toe plays a key part. So does the fluid in your ear. And if the fluid in your ears is off you'll need to get a good grab of things to walk. It is not fun. Back to toes. Like I said big part. If we didn't have em wed be covered in bruises.

We have them for balance. If someone loses some toes, sometimes their walking balance is affected.

They were to help us climb trees. We'd dig our toes into the bark to help lift us up. They kept us balanced when we started walking upright. Now we use them to pick things up when we're to lazy to bend down.
