Because the Bible was written by superstitious people who lived in a patriarchal society and didn't know much about biology.

The Bible does not say that the first man was created from a womb, now does it? God created man from the 'dust in the ground'. And the first female didn't start out in the womb either. She was made from a piece of bone from the man. The fact that WE come from a womb and both start with nipples is irrelevant. I think we are born that way as a punishment. We are all born into sin anyway, whether we like it or not.

Actually, it depends on which part of the Bible you read. Genesis 1 says men & women were created at the same time, then Genesis 2 has the whole silly story abou the rib.
You want a "good" explanation as to why Genesis, when taken as a literal account, doesn't match up with reality? Because, um...the Bible isn't a history book?

We are not "all females when starting in the womb". Chromosomal abnormalities aside, we are either XY (male) or XX (female) from the very beginning. Later, hormones act on the body template to masculinize the parts.
That aside, Adam and Eve were a special case. They were created as adults, while subsequent humans begin their lives as zygotes.

Wow, what a weird thought.
Is this the thinking of a witch. Remember Exodus 22-18.
You better stop thinking.
Remember, Eve ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Knowledge is bad. Adam and Eve first discovered that they were naked. Now look at the mess we are in. If they hadn't eaten the apple, it would all be free, now we have to pay to see people naked.
Go figure.

Accurate information need not be taken from a source as untraceable as Genesis. Also, we are not all women in the womb. The fact is, men and women have identical genetalia in the womb, until the application of testosterone, estrogen, and other hormonal combinations.

what are talking about? ALL started as females? Where did you get this, because this is nowhere found in the Bible.
You will note in Genesis 1 it refers to God saying "male and female He created them."
Adam was created first for the earth, God breathed life into him.
Then Eve was created from the missing rib of man, hence, woman was created from man.
Not the other way around.

We are not all females when starting out in the womb. We are sexless. We have the basic organs necessary to develop in to either sex. Women have clitorises that would have become penises if they became a male.

Yeah.
God made the first man from scratch.
Then he made the first woman from a part of the first man.
The first womb didn't exist until then.

Who said they start out as girl? They have nothing at first. Who says we have nipples "left" over.
