Before taking this medicine
Motrin can increase your risk of fatal heart attack or stroke, especially if you use it long term or take high doses, or if you have heart disease. Even people without heart disease or risk factors could have a stroke or heart attack while taking this medicine.
Do not use this medicine just before or after heart bypass surgery (coronary artery bypass graft, or CABG).
Motrin may also cause stomach or intestinal bleeding, which can be fatal. These conditions can occur without warning while you are using ibuprofen, especially in older adults.
You should not use Motrin if you are allergic to ibuprofen, or if you have ever had an asthma attack or severe allergic reaction after taking aspirin or an NSAID.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist if it is safe for you to take Motrin if you have:
- heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, or if you smoke;
- a history of heart attack, stroke, or blood clot;
- a history of stomach ulcers or bleeding;
- asthma;
- liver or kidney disease;
- fluid retention; or
- a connective tissue disease such as Marfan syndrome, Sjogren's syndrome, or lupus.
Taking Motrin during the last 3 months of pregnancy may harm the unborn baby. Do not use ibuprofen without a doctor's advice if you are pregnant.
It is not known whether ibuprofen passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. Do not use this medicine without a doctor's advice if you are breast-feeding a baby.
Do not give Motrin to a child younger than 2 years old without the advice of a doctor.

Different drug companies often put a different name on medication in hopes of selling more of their own product. Both medications are exactly the same. Ibuprofen is a generic name for the same thing. Motrin is a trade name. The only difference in the medication may be the actual dosage strength. A good example of this is acetaminophen & tylenol. There are both exactly the same medication.

Do you know what the chances are of getting brain cancer from cell phone radiation are? Do you know how many years you would have to be exposed to even have a potential risk? You've been watching too much tv. The media covers this crap so extensively, because they know that fear sells. And you've bought it. Unless you've had a cell phone strapped to your head since birth, you're at no higher chance of getting cancer from it than you are from breathing. I used to suffer extreme headaches too when I was 14-18. They were caused by stress. They went away after the stress of school and a dysfunctional family went away. See a doctor, they'll tell you the same thing.

It is the name they are used to saying.
Muscles can have knots (trigger points) that make them tight which in turn put pressure on nerves and other things.
Molasses - a couple of swigs or Bananas 1 or 2 - both contain magnesium and potassium for muscles.
Try working with the principles taught in The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.
I use a chiropractor and massage therapist with it.

Motrin is to Advil what Bayer is to aspirin.
In other words, they are the same exact thing.
If you buy Motrin, then you are basically paying for that brands advertising and if you buy Advil then it will be cheaper, because it will not be the major brand.and therefore you will not be paying as much because it is considered the generic.
i hope this has been very helpful to you. Good luck !!!!
