BACITRACIN, swab some onto a tissue and smear that into the eye. Should heal in about three days. Do this about twice a day for 3 or 4 days. Bacitracin is an antibiotic ointment that can be purchased at the pharmacy. My husband has used it for weldburned eyes, so I have tried this on my cats.

This is not the type of thing you can have solved over the internet. You need to take him/her to your vet and have the cornea, or surface of the eye, stained. If there is truly a scratch on it there are certain ointments that may be used and some that cannot. There are ointments for the eye only, and any ointment that is to be used on the SKIN should NOT be placed around the eye where it can get into it. If you put the wrong type of ointment on a scratched eye surface, you could make the scratch deeper which would ruin all chances of it healing properly. Please contact your vet!

you might want to explain a little more what happened to your dogs eye, some sratches need more attention than others, in general i suggest you let a vet make the decision if the scratch may needs antibiotics, etc.

Take to vet for eye antibiotic drops, if infection starts the dog may lose its eyesight, this advise is for people who scatch their eyes too. i used to work for an eye doctor.

Go to the vet and have him put something on your dog's eye, you should get there A.S.A.P before it gets infected.

if ur dog is bumping into stuff, pawing at his eye, whining, showing discomfort ,etc. go to the vet! even if he's not....id still do a quick check up on it
