About 4 weeks ago I had my top left wisdom tooth removed and the doctor also filled the two teeth in front of the extraction. 2-weeks ago I had the bottom left wisdom tooth remove and the doctor also filled the two teeth in front of that extraction. since then I get pains that come in go on the left side of my mouth. I went back to the dentist on wed 2/14/07, and he looked and said he saw no problem. the fillings looked great and where the wisdom teeth use to be looked fine and healing, and he sent me on my way. but days later I am still having the pains come and go? can anyone help me? is it the filled teeth or the extraction area that is causing this small on and off pain?

The removal of wisdom teeth can cause pain for some time, especially if they were impacted or you had very long roots. If the pain continues or you have any swelling or fever, I would go back to the dentist immediately.
