Depends how big it was. Generally I would suggest just waiting. If you've tried swallowing some water and so on, then the sensation in your throat is probably caused by the latent sensation on the places where the bone poked you, rather than the bone itself. Your stomach acids can probably break down small bones before they can do any further damage, so unless it was a big, fat bone I'd just wait for it to disintegrate and come out the other end normally.

Most of the time, the bone scratched the throat, and that can hurt for a couple of days. It can feel like there is something there. But, in many cases, there is something there, and the only way you can know for sure is go to the ER. They;'ll take a look, and if need be call in a specialist to give you some good drugs and take a look down your throat with a endoscopy. You'll go home when they're done.

An previous medical care my kinfolk makes use of to alleviate stuffy nostril is cayenne pepper broth: chicken broth mixed with as lots cayenne pepper as he can stand and a few stable hotsauce - sweats the chilly out and motives your sinuses to empty(like none-different). For sorethroat confirm he would not have strep(seem via checking for spots on the back of his throat whilst he does an 'ahh' try, if he does get him to a doctor asap) Then the only organic issues you're able to do to is supply him a tablespoon of honey(temporarily coats the throat) and/or have him suck on icecubes (relieves swelling and superb cooling feeling)

My brother swallowed a fish bone some years ago and he ended up in the hospital. He hasn't eaten fish ever since.
My mom used to give us some bread after we swallowed fish bone, she used to say it'll take the bone down to your tummy and it would stop hurting :)

Go to the Doctor it may be lodged in soft tissue in the back of your throat. If not removed it could cause an infection.
Good luck, and listen to the Mom
