1-Towel dry your hair
2- Put hair gel in your hair (not a lot, or it'll look "crunchy") while wet, then toussle it a bit. (I suggest LA Looks "curl look", followed by some Herbal Essences spray gel). (Don't brush out after adding the gel, and don't add too much near your scalp)
3-Use a blow dryer with a diffuser attachment, and use a medium setting (a high setting will blow your hair out straighter, which is not what you want), flip your head upside down, and place chunks of hair into the diffuser and kind of push the blow dryer against your head, and hold there for several seconds, repeat all over your head over and over again until your hair is dry (you can also stand straight up and just scrunch the sides up to your head with the diffuser too, it's good to alternate to get everything scrunched and dryed while it's up against your head). This should work since you have wavy hair, it will not work for people with straight hair.

The first thing you need to do is get your hair cut to take the weight out of it. The weight pulls the curls down so that will make them flatter.
Next, when your hair is wet, use an air diffuser to dry it. An air diffuser is an attachment to a blower dryer. It looks like a big shower head. It should be at least 5" or 6" across, or it will pull your hair out length wise, flattening it more. For this you don't use a brush. You tousel your hair until you like the shape, then dry it while scrunching it and touselling it a bit more. A light hand is a must for success here. If you pull on it, it will straighten out and flatten the wave again.
There are products made to help with this. They are usually in mousse (foam) form so as not to add weight to your hair. A good salon can help you with products like this.
A factor in this is the humidity of your area. Humidity is water in the air, and it will pull your hair down, too. If you go too long between haircuts it will flatten it out as well. That's when a good hair decoration with a clip on it will help. You can at least keep your hair out of your face.

I recommend using Garnier or Herbal Essence shampoo and conditioner for curly hair. After a shower I use garnier curl spray gel or herbal Essence curl gel. I scrunch and twist my hair into curls around my fingers. I spray it with dove flexible hold hairspray.

What you think approximately curly looks like a bad spiral perm, and makes your hair seem frizzy. What you think approximately wavy is superb. P.S. it incredibly is recommended to adjust to a clean deodorant.

Layer it..that totally worked on me. OO and when you take a shower, don't brush your hair after...brush it in the shower. Brushing it makes it dry more straight.

Braid your hair and then take them out in the morning.
