Yes, first it's the law. The reason it's the law is because multitudes of tests and studies have indicated the wearing of seat belts will save lives and reduce injury.

The point is to save lives and reduce injury of course.

The point is to restrain you from flailing about in the case of an accident.

Do i wear mine?

It depends on the driver and conditions.

With my mom i sometimes do because i don't trust her ALL the time. heavy weather conditions . yes.

all the time in young friends cars.

or when i see a cop.

it keeps you from being ejected from the car or flying through the windshield cutting your face or carotid artery in your neck so you won't bleed to death. WEAR YOUR SEATBELT>!

Always and so do any passenger, they keep you from marrying the windshield in an accident!!
