Does the fear of Aids, come up in your talks with your significant other? If so? What is being done, to assure that you won't be a victim? Do you think about it?

Yes it does. I ask my new boyfriends to use a condom until I feel like we are close enough. Then I've asked them to get a physical and bring the results. I will do the same. Then we can go "bare back" after I'm sure that we are both disease free. AIDS isn't the only thing out there, Herpies is no fun also!

Many people do not talk about it...and that is why it spreads. You should talk about it, or at the very least, take the proper precautions, such as contraceptives and so forth. I know that is not the best option, but outside of abstinance, it is the best alternative to protect yourself. There is no cure, and no vacination for AIDS so you can not be too careful. Take care!

No, not at all, because we're safe. I'm more concerned about getting pregnant than AIDS.

Not really....I know that we are both safe because we go for check-ups once a month. We use protection.....so, there is really no need to talk about it unless our doctor says that something's up.....

No. We have been together for nearly seven years now and the discussion about any type of STD's has never come up.

The best way to deal with it is to tell yourself that your SO has it.

Not really, as we're both disease-free and monogamous.
