ok, first off, why did you dye it black? GROSS!! but you can get the diy kits at walmart for hardly anything. and you said it was semi permanent, so you could just wait till it grows back. DO NOT shave it off or cut it, you will regret it.

Omgosh.....Well....theres not alot you can do at this pooint but shampoo, shampoo, shampoo and condition (x3!)
And still..it may not come out so easily, depending on what you used. More than likely if you did DIY...you may be in big trouble. It may actually be a permanent color. Alot of these drug store products are, in fact, permanent since the co. likes you to keep buying thier product and you'll need to touch up your roots with the same color right?? So they actually use a higher volume peroxide to be sure that this happens. Make sense?? Not very nice, I know...but it's the truth and I see it all the time being a stylist for 17 yrs..you get to know which products do what.
The next thing I will suggest is to go to a salon and have highlights put in. Even if it's just in the front to make you feel lighter and more like yourself....it shouldn't cost much if you don't have it cut and styled. I would do this before trying anything yourself. it will save you money in the long run and if it so happens that the black doesn't lighten for you, (give yoursef a month at least to give it a chance to lighten itself), or enough for you, then you can keep adding hi-lights to the rest of your hair, or you can have it corrected at a salon. I hope this helps you!!

well you want to make sure your hair isnt to damaged, you need to bleach your hair out I would recommend a professional to do this but...... if there is a beauty suppy store where you live go there and they will help you get what you need, if you do turn orange like someone else said then you need to use a toner on your hair after you bleach it out, also with the bleach if you have ever used it before it will burn your scalp so dont shampoo or brush your hair pryor to lighting your hair it will make your scalp burn you can also put a lil bit of sweet n low in your bleach mixture it helps with the stinging!! plz whatever you do dont go to cheap or you will damage your hair badly!!! hope that helps :) also if there is a beauty college in your town or close by they are really cheap and if you ask me they are better then most professionals because they are constantly being watched by thier instructors!!!!!!

Semi permanent means it will wash out over time. It will take a little while, but the more you wash your hair the lighter it will get. Eventually, it will be gone.

If it is not permanent, just wash it out, if permanent, well then you can either dye it back to the original colour. If you can't do that well then i can't help u cause I have never dyed my hair and never intend to, i like my hair colour :)

what ever possesed you? what ever you do not attempt to do it your self! semis fade after about 6 washes depending on your hair condition, know this sounds a bit randon but wash it in fairy liquid a coulpe of times it helps to strip the colour but use with a good conditioner. and go to a good salon for some advice!!!

before everything, i'm no longer advising you to bypass against your mothers needs - yet, there is not any regulation against dyeing your hair till you're a undeniable age so legally, there is not any longer something combating you from doing it. you ought to actual bypass and purchase some hair dye from the keep and do it your self however the question is, do you opt for for to bypass against your mothers needs? you will possibly desire to purchase wash-out dyes that final from a pair of million-2 weeks and he or she might comply with enable you do this. besides the undeniable fact that, if she would not enable you completely dye your hair black for the clarification that "it is going to seem grotesque" then I advise you do it besides (in case you relatively need to) considering which you have the wonderful to have your hair any way you opt for for.

I dyed my hair black also. I was told at a hair salon that the best way to get the black out is to have it done at the salon. you can't get it lighter by dyeing over it,the color won't take.
