I am 12 and I am and honor student.

I need to lose weight so I can feel better physically and mentally.
I am in 6th grade I don't want to graduate 8th grade and carry the weight into high school. I want to be in shape to play my favorite sports at the best high school in my state.

I am 184.5 lbs and I am 5foot 2inches.

I also need to know ways to stop cravings when I know i am not hungry?????

and how to tone my thighs?????
I don't even buy clothes anymore because they're probably not going to fit in the next 2 months because I gain 30lbs or more every year. I ain't no doctor but I know It's not healthy.

Okay well, you are definetly out of shape (no offense I am too).
Except im already in High School and i weigh 180 lbs (9th grade; If your wondering, im on my mom's account because I think it's stupid to switch) Anyhow, basically ive been down to 170 in 3 weeks just for a test run, then i gained it again because i stopped. What i did was i went to the gym as much as possible, hmmm i went to Ballys Total Fitness (google it to find if you have any close, im not sure if they let you in when your 12 but search for where you live and the age requirements). You can mostly just work-out at home and outside. This is what i did:

1. Breakfast: Cereal/Oatmeal
2. School
3. During lunch and small sandwich w/ black bread, turkey/ham, a little mayo.
4. Come outta school and go to the gym.
5. First 100 situps; pull-ups+chin-ups; foot/thigh exersices; some machines for hands. (NOTE: DO NOT USE WEIGHTS, because it WILL slow down your growth) I spent about a 1-2 hours in the gym
6. Come home, take a shower and do homework.
7. At 7 make a salad (lettuce, tomato, possibly pickels, dressing.

And if needed in between eat some fruits
Also since you have a craving for food all the time, when you eat, try to eat slower.

Heh im starting to do that again as soon as spring break is done and planning to lose at least 30 lbs to 150.

(if your ganna work out at home and outside make sure to run, do situps, pushups, and anything else you want to such as sports, etc..)

try running every day. Even if u can't run too far just keep building up your distance. eat fruits when u feel like u need a snack. Also try to lay off soda for a little. If u need something with flavor to drink instead of water, you can buy little packets with splenda that can make fruit punch or many other flavors without calories. Also try to eat celerie. I've heard that it burns more calories to eat it then you will gain from eating it. Hope this helps.

when you are not hungry make sure you are keeping busy
you could:
dance, play outside, sign up for a club, swim, run, walk, play dance dance revolution, homework , tv ( but not too much same wit the internet), read Etc...
then you will not have food on your mind.
eat veggies and friuts when you are a little hungry
Eat six small meals a day
get atleast an hour of exercise in a day
and that should help you lose some weight. i took ballet for a summer and stretched everyday for one hour at home and lost atleast ten pounds. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!

I suggest joining a weight loss club of some type. Most people think they are only for adults, but there are many young people involved.

They help you stay motivated! I suggest pilates or yoga as a low impact excercize to get you into the "work out" mode. Then go all out with cardio kickboxing classes, bootcamp classes, spinning, etc. I love spinning classes, they burn mega calories and they are a blast!

Stop eating ****. You gain weight because you are American and you eat too much. Jst stop it. Eat 3 meals a day and that's it. I don't know what 184 lbs is but it sounds well chub. Just stop eating **** and you will lose weight
