Do you think it's stupid?

They Race around in circles... some of the drivers have never made a right hand turn while racing. All of the cars are the same in most regards. In the areas witch the cars are not the same such as aero NASCAR will attempt to compensate for slower designs. The cars require little to no athletic ability to drive. I feel that the majority of the fan base gets drunk and waits for a wreck, the race feels like a wrestling match. I think Stupid is a dilute word but can't think of a more suiting one at the moment.

F1 starts in 27 days and 18 hours, rain or shine!

you are tromping on my feet nascar bashing is my department. no i don't think they are stupid they just have a way to many rules that are to complex for the average red neck to understand. i figure they should take off the restrict-or plates throw the rules in the trash let them run what ever fuel they like run any size of motor sorta run what you brung. in less than five laps the rules would start looking good and we may even have a good old fashion hillbilly furneral for at least half the field. then everyone would play nice

I think the rules are getting WAY out of hand! What's the point of qualifying anymore if most all of the spots are "locked up", and not allowing any new comers to participate. These new teams out qualify the 'older standard' teams, but denied a starting spot because lack of owner points. If you can't make the race, pack-up and go home, no matter who you are. The "chase" is totally ridiculous, it needs to go back to old format. Why fix it if it's not broken. The "COT" are totally stupid looking, I'm all for making the cars safer, but not making them look stupid.

Loved NASCAR when they were actually running stock cars. Winston or Nextel cars are not stock cars. Also I think it's silly for a driver to be wearing his driving suit at all hours.
It's all moot anyway, I watch sprinters and midgets on the dirt.

I love Nascar! It is a great sport, don't knock it just because you don't understand it. There is a lot more to it than just driving a car.

To-irunwithbulls-I'm educated. I own my own business and have a six figure income. What about you?
*Note* This is proper use of a question mark.

Despite outward appearances it is a team sport. The driver is just one component of the machine that peaks every weekend.

One thing I like is no one in this sport is going to go on strike. There will always be another driver waiting in the wings. Tired of football, baseball, basketball, and hockey players and their me-first attitude bitching for more money and benefits.

NASCAR is evolving into a true fan sport........

I think they need to pull their head out of their rear-end before their fan base is gone. All they know is to scrap the tracks that got them to where they are for the cookie cutter tracks...i.e. next week at Fontana...B O R I N G. It's fact that less people are watching, and the Great American Race isn't even sold out.

It's not that it's stupid, they make big bucks and I don't , but I think it is for people who like to nap while watching people who only know how to go around in circles

WHEN NASCAR,WAS PRE DALE SR. CRASH I LOVED IT. WHEN THEY DROPPED SOME OF THE OLD TRACKS ,I BECAME SUSPICIOUS. WHEN THEY WENT DOWN SOUTH OF THE BORDER,VERY UNHAPPY, WHEN, TOYOTA STARTED IN TRUCKS ., ANGRY. WHEN THE FORGIEN DRIVERS STARTED, MORE ANGRY.WHEN I SEE THE LIKES OF J.GORDONS,JIMMY JOHNSON, DALE JR, MICHAEL WALTRIPS ETC DOES BLATANT RULE INFRACTIONS AND NOTHING HAPPENS, YOU LET THE HARVICKS, R.GORDONS, OR ANY OF THE HARD DRIVERS DO THE SAME OR LESS,THEY ARE REMOVED OR LOOSES SO MANY POINTS IT HURTS MORE THAN MONEY. THERE IS DOUBLE STANDARDS.WHEN FRANCE JR TOOK OVER IT WENT DOWN HILL FAST.US COMMON FOLKS ARE SET ASIDE AND THE ELITE ARE CATERED TO. THIS IS AMERICAN SPORT. ., DRIVERS ARE AMERICANS.WHILE I AM NOT FROM THE SOUTH THE CONFERERATE FLAG FLOWN IS BY AMERICANS. SO IT TO IS AMERICAN. FfRANCE JR HAD NO RIGHT TO BAN IT OR SPEAK OUT ABOUT.
