I keep getting pain on one side of my head..is this typical of a migraine?? it happens most days. I also get normal headaches a lot too. A few weeks ago I was out during the day and i started to see..what i can only describe as a watery/shaking circle in one of my eyes, then i got what i think was migraine pain and pins and needles in one of my hands. is this typical?? I told my doctor about the head pain months ago but like everything she wasn't very concerned, infact made me feel like i was an inconvience and basically told me i shouldn't have went to see her but should have just rang her at the clinic.

does anyone know if these are migraines or if it maybe something else?

There should be concern if you have tingling or numbness in your arms or hands with headaches. I think maybe you should consult another physician if your current physician is not showing proper concern.

Stress can make your head hurt and you may not even realize that you are stressed out. You are saying these headaches are different than your normal ones? It could be a migrane or it could be something else going on in your body......keep a journal and call a different doctor when you feel that you need to be seen by one. Hope you find relief soon! : )

get a different doctor, and ask another doctor what they think. I get migraines quite often, as well, and sometimes i go up to the er. they give me meds through an IV and that helps a TON. hope this helps :)

I get migraines myself and the pain starts behind my right ear. I have had a stroke due to a migraine and yes my left arm went numb and tingled, I couldn't see at all. Go to http://www.wenmd.com/ for more information and get yourself another doctor please. Good luck: Blueladybug

you most definitely should see another doctor as your current one was out of order and the things you describe are not conducive with migraine
