First is to realize that it happens all the time to many people and it doesn't reflect on you at all. It only shows you the kind of person you almost had to put up with for an entire date. Thank GOD the person didn't show up. You may have liked the person and then found out what kind of jerk he.she is.

It is hurtful but you just move on and remind yourself it was their loss.

Who cares...they only get one chance to stand you up. What's to deal with anyway? Your life ain't over just because some ****** doesn't have the decency to keep a date. The night is still young...use your imagination and have some fun anyway...could be a blessing in disguise.

They better be seriously injured or a family member emergency to not take a couple seconds to tell u they wont be able to make it.
Its plainly disrespectful, and there wouldnt be a second chance without one heck of a reason for the first.
Good luck

best thing for you to do is to not worry about it. if you regularly see the person who stood you up then i would let them know that what they did was not right and that what they did to you made you mad. other than that there is not much you can do. chances are you are better off without them anyway. hope this helps. good luck.

dont let it bring you down from whatever plans you made with the date. If it was dinner, eat there anyways, same with a movie or etc. who know's, you could actually meet someone else that same night!

Have the confidence to realize that if someone stood you up, it's his/her loss! You were there, you showed up as promised, and they never did; they were the ones who lost out, since they failed to meet someone who keeps their word. You, on the other hand, only missed meeting someone who doesn't keep their promises, and who needs that?

I say let him explain and if it is a legitimate excuse date him again but if he's done it before or acts like he doesnt know you after then forget all about him.
