navy career oppurtunities? are you talking about where you can get stationed? if you are, are you going active or reserve? if reserves, then you'll find plenty of places you can fit into.

if active, head down to san diego.
the base down in san diego is huge. depending on how well you do in "a" school and where they need your rate the most, they'll decide whether or not you can be stationed there. usually, if you excell in "a" school, you get top priority over other people where you get to be stationed. of course, none of that will matter if the base has of your rate that they need.

now, the base in san diego is pretty big, so chances of you getting in are not too bad. there are NEVER any gaurentees though, so don't believe anyone who tells you that. as long as you're able to put up with the jar-heads and other squids down in SD, you'll find it pretty nice. :)

check out navy.com if you want to look for other bases.

if this isn't what your meant, just edit and rephrase your question and i'll see if i can give you a better answer

San Diego has a big base
also, in the Navy as any branch it depends on your trade and where it's needed, as to where you will go, after you complete basic and an A school(trade school) you will be given a form called the dream sheet and you place 3 bases you would like to go to, i was in 1973, i put 1.Vietman 2.Pacific fleet 3. Anywhere in texas, i was sent to Norfolk,Va.,so the dream sheet can turn into a nightmare
Also in the Navy you have sea duty and shore duty and have to switch every 4 years and can't have the same twice
also in order to advance in the Navy you pick a trade that is not top heavy, one guy i knew was in a trade that was almost extinct (signalman) and he had made Senior Chief in no time, but if you get into a trade like i was in ,Aviation Electrician ,it takes forever to advance, advancing means more money, and we all need more of that

As the Pacific Fleet is based there, your chances are pretty good.
