Hi there,
I've been wanting a tattoo for years now but always put it off because I want to make sure I get something that I'm gonna like forever. Does anyone know any sites where I can get some inspiration? I've had a look myself but the ones I look at want paid!! If you have any ideas yourself feel free to let me know, I want it on my lower back.

If you don't already have some idea of what you want, then I'd say wait on the tattoo until you do. You should get something that has meaning for you. Don't copy someone else's tattoo. I'm passionate about nature and wildlife, so I have two dolphins launching out of the ocean (opposite ways) on my lower back and a beautiful green leafy vine from the nape of my neck to the middle of my shoulderblades. I plan to extend the vine in the future straight down my spine. Tattoos are very addictive, so unless you want a bunch of random tattoos that mean nothing to you, consider what you are passionate about, start with one, because I'm sure you will want more in the future. You can take any photo of anything into a tattoo shop and they can draw an original for you. Anything can be a tattoo, I don't suggest looking at everyone else's tats. If you are a woman, I'd avoid getting any around your belly if you plan to have kids in the future, the tat stretches something awful! LOL Choose wisely, and good luck...I love mine!

Youv so gotta look at www.micktomo.com its a free site with a huge gallery of different designs to choose, all designs he has completed on people, youll definately find something there you like, Mick tomo is well known in the tattoo world and he is one of the most renouned and best tattoo artists in the UK. pretty good website, u have to be a member to view over a certain amount of pages. but usually the pages u can view are good enough.
if u cant find any, go to any reputable tattoo shop and look at portfolios, or collaborate with a tattoo artist and come up with a custom design.

you can browse tattoo designs at deviantart.com, you have to be a member, but it's free to sign up. where there's the search bar just type in 'tattoo' and you'll get alot of sweet designs. or bmezine.com
