not long for myself but i have heard of ppl having them for weeks. here are some ways to try to stop them they have worked for me. hold your nose ears and hold your breath then make your self burp if you hiccup try again or get a glass of water and hold your head just your head upside down and drink some water that is the most affectif way i have found some ppl will tell you you have to stand on your head not true just try putting your head up side down and drink the water . also you may hear ppl say try putting surger on your tounge this also does not work just llike standing on your head does not work.. i saw this on a real ER show this lady had hiccups for 2 weeks and the doc tried everything if you try the holding your breath ears and nose closed does not work nor does the water thing. and if it goes on for more then 3 days go to the doctor or ER they may have to give you a shot to stop them cus it could be something else wrong that whats happend to the girl on the show good luck i hope the hiccups stop God Bless
