The ones I bought at Michael's say, "Can Hug" on the label. They are called can cozies by some people.
For a coffee cup, you can buy or make something similar, called a mug hug, mug cozy, cup cozy or java jammies. The name "Java Jacket" is copyright. It refers to the insulating slip-on sleeve made of recycled paper and sold in Washington state.
