I would go in. It's the flu, so the meanies who are giving her a hard time are likely to catch it, and the customers are likely to complain about being given food prepared by such a sick person.

NO but employers dont think of that they just think of you missing work adults can spread the flu virus from 1 day before having symptoms up to 7 days afterward. Young children can spread the virus for longer than 7 days.

She could definitely infect a lot of people. It is mostly spread through tiny respiratory droplets, so even if she tried not to infect people it would likely still occur.
