At the cafe that I eat at, we eat in a buffet style line, but are served, if you will. I stand on one side of a counter, and th eperson dishes up my plate of food from th eother. So, here is my question.. If the line server sneezes into his arm, away from the food by about a foot and a half, are there any chances that it got on the food? He sneezed into his arm. The only problem I could see is him pcking up the plate after he sneezed. What do you think?

It is actually recomended that food service personel do this to avoid getting germs in the food. It would take a long time for those microscopic critters to get to the hand, so no, it wouldn't get into your food.
It is kind of gross though. I wouldn't like it much if the person serving my food was sneezing or coughing.

There's this show on the local tv station where i live called Zoom and the kids on this show did an experiment on this very thing w/ black light sensitive powder representing the germs one color for elbows one for hands. The kids w/ powder on the inside of their elbow spread just as many germs as kids who sneezed into their hands!

This all depends on how much of health freak you are. I personally wouldn't risk it, but I guess having the server do this was better than doing nothing.

Don't eat there. Snot (from the Latin, "Snotus") is gross.
