Try comparing John 3:16 vs 17 as if comparing two Gods: Law vs Grace; since we are exhorted to compare spiritual with spiritual.

God did not send his Son to condmen(law) the world, but that through him (through Jesus->Christ) the world might be saved(graced). John 3:17... which is obvious since God did not even send his Son till the fulness of the time for law expired: Gal 4.

The same thing applies to comparing two Words: Law vs Grace in John 1: 1 vs 2. Law "was" God. It was an awful lawful God, the reason it got abolished, done away, put away as the put off.

Now try comparing 1Thessalonians 5:3 with 5:9 as if comparing law vs grace for them vs us. Law worketh wrath brings the no escape sort of destruction on them who say peace and safety in law. But God(Grace) hath not appointed us unto wrath(law). So if I were still one of them, I'd be converting to one of us, and asap.

The allegoric comparison operates throughout the Bible.

Sadly, your favorite is Law, and sadly you call yourself Christ-ian, not knowing Christ is the end of the law: Romans 10:4.

I suppose your favorite for the last day is the day of the LORD instead of the day of God; Not knowing it says in Amos: Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD (you that desire LAW); the day of the LORD is darkness and not light.

I would then suppose you also favor sacrifice over mercy; Not knowing the will of God (His Grace) is: "I will have mercy, and not sacrifice" with the "not" part being not then, not now, not ever. But I would have you to know that doing the will of God precedes receive the promise, as PLAINLY noted in Hebrews 10:36.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Luke 24:35 is where Jesus celebrated the "breaking of the bread" the day he rose from the dead. This verse is directly connected to 2 Corinthians 3:15-16 showing that Jesus Christ is truely present in the consecrated bread and wine. This is why Jesus had a meal before he died and raised from the dead. This is why Jesus disappeared before the two disciples in the breaking of the bread immediately after they recognized him. It is to convey the truth that the secret truths contained in scripture are not revealed unless we accept Jesus Christ in the consecrated bread and wine.

This is not just a Catholic dogma but Greek, Russian, & Eastern Orthodox Churches & Ukranian Chruches believe Jesus Christ is truely present in the consecrated bread and wine.

My fav verse is " Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His rightousness, and all these things will be added unto you." So that means I have to search for God and while I am studing the word of God my mind is not so much as focused on the things that I need but on the one that can supply all my needs according to his riches in Glory.

Therefore, brothers, I implore every one of you by the mercies of God to present your bodies as sacrifices, alive, holy, and pleasing to the Lord which is your reasonable service (act of worship). And do not be conformed to this present world but be transformed by renewing your mind so that you may test and approve what is the will of God, what is good and well pleasing and perfect. ~Romans 12:1-2

JOHN 3: 35 The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand. 36 He that exercises faith in the Son has everlasting life; he that disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains upon him.

Jehovah loves his son Jesus and has given all things to him. so we must exercise faith in Jesus and not disobey him so that Jehovah wont destroy us

Phil 4:6-7

Be anxious for nothing, but through prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will keep you hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

"Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

Every verse, from beginning to end, is my favorite. One can not go without the others. They all intertwine. The OT prophecies and the NT fulfills it.
