Is there a free progrm that captures audio and stores it in a file?

You can use the program called Audacity, it allows you to capture, record, and save audio in many different formats including WAV, WMA, and MP3.

try using the limewire program, and type in audio rip. it will find some files, and you just have to pick the right one. GOOD LUCK!!! :-)
