when your hair is wet, depending on how long it is...if it is how long it is in picture you showed...put in about a quarter size dab...if you want that look dried....and put in DAMP, clean and combed through hair....rub it through with fingers while it is upside down and swinging loosely...then scrunch with hands all throughout hair....NOTE...spend over $10 on gel or it will flake and our hair will dry out. you might also add some moose for an even greater affect...to boost it...if your hair is "straight"...good luck

with towel dried hair put gel in your fingers and scrunch your hair with your hands to create the wave type effect, then either let it airdry or blowdry it with a difuser. Hairspray helps alot too so if you have any spray it after you finish.

If u know how to scrunch then i would scrunch it but not so much because that isnt as curly as it would be when u scrunch it alot..

use mouse, and put it on to damp hair jst run it through your fingers and let it dry :)
