I noticed it after I put my foot in VERY hot water (shower), but the water wasnt'hot enough to burn me (I don't think so atleast....)

It hasn't been there before or slowly growing over time. I thought it was just a bump from hitting something, but it isn't going down. Anyone have any ideas? It looks like I'm growing a 6th toe!

Sounds like you are the proud owner of a corn. You can purchase a product that has the medicine in it,it's a bandage you put on the corn, the medicine will destroy the corn and you won't have that sixth toe. Do be sure the medicine part of the bandage is not touching "good" skin, because it will eat it almost to the bone. It is not a bunion as the other people have said, a bunion will only be on the big toe where it attaches to the foot. Good luck.

It's probably a bunion; if not, it may be your twin who's finally trying to separate from you
