The only ones I've seen you can view profiles and send a "wink" or something but it doesn't go any further unless you subscribe and then you can e-mail back and forth. Who wants to waste subscription money on a site where there's not many prospects. I keep hearing about "chatting" -- is that in a singles room?

Well how about myspace. Its Free. I just joined match.com and will take their 6 months challenage. I know what you mean about not too many prospects, but then it only takes one and of course time. I found not to put my eggs in one basket anyway. It all depends on where you live. Like on myspace I can't see that for dating cause there aren't many locals on it in my area, but I have meet many friends from afar. Good Luck.
