Deodorant uses alcohol to kill the bacteria that cause the odor; I tried straight rubbing alcohol once and it did pretty well. If only it didn't sting...
Unscented still kills the bacteria but will not interfere with the perfume you use.

Yes it does and ill explain why!!! Let's say you have scented deodorant on and as you are sweating you notice an oder its because the scented toxins has mixed with the sweat and now it is very awful and smells worse than youwearing no deodorant at all!!! As to where unscented deodorant has no smell to it and when you sweat the sweat and unscented one wont cause a must smell!!!

I use scented antiperspirant deodorant. It works ok for me. Plain old deodorant - whether it's scented or not doesn't really do anything for me. After an hour or two it's pretty much gone.

not necessarily it just covers up odors. I like a product made with minerals called Crystal it is unscented and it is a roll on.

I would have to say, it really depends on the brand. I usually only use scented, but I have tried the all-natural homeopathic, clear sock. That worked just as well.

I like the scented roll-ons by Avon because they all smell great and they are all long lasting too! They come in different perfume-y scents!!!!
