Take the hair you want to braid and break it down into 3 even strands. Take the left strand and put it over the middle one. Then take the right strand and put it over the middle one. Keep doing this until you have a very little bit of hair. Then put a rubber band or a hair tie at the bottom. I used to have long hair.

There is a device you can use to aid in doing them. It holds your hair between spounges. You can also get a book by Klutz publishing about how to braid hair. It is far too complicated to explain in words you need diagrams or photos.
