I just got over some sort of stomach virus and although I rehydrated it took awhile for my urine to stop being fairly dark colored and my bowel movements are really pale. Is this a normal after effect? I've never had a stomach virus before.

I'm assuming you have not eaten much either. wait a week and see if everything returns to normal. if not, see a doctor.

Dark urine and pale bowel movements are a sign of liver disease, such as Hepatitis. If you continue to have these syptoms, or if you have discolored sclera (the whites of your eyes), a tender spot on your right side right below your ribs, or just feel really crappy, I suggest you seek medical attention.
There are several types of Hepatitis, most of them curable.
Please seek attention.

i just had a stomah thing to like throwing up and to get rehyderated i drank lots of powerade to restore my fluids
maybe ur not completely rehyderated so drink lots of powerade or gaderate
