Dear Natalie,
Hi I would like to thank you for all those times you scratched me behind my ears. And stroked my black fur. I wanted to let you know that I made it to doggie heaven and it is awesome up here! There are all of these fire hydrants and everywhere I turn there is a T-bone with my name on it. Sometimes when you miss me I want you to think of all the good times we had together and know that I think about them too. I am really glad to have had such a great human friend. They told me I could only write from doggy heaven one time and to only one person and of course I picked you!!
Well Nat, I hope you know that I am okay and I'm glad to know that you still love me cuz I love you! I know that the picture beside this message isn't of me but I had to hack into someones computer to send this to you ( It's hard typing with my paws) Oh and my vision came back!!
Anyway take care and I hope this message makes you feel better.Arrooooohhhh!!!!
love always
-Jenna

wow, i am sorry... but remember everything happens for a reason. maybe some child is up in heaven and needed a beautiful dog, and they took yours b/c she was suffering here on earth anyways, with her diabetes and everything. i know how you feel, my kitten just passed away a week ago, and it has been the hardest week ever. only we cant even give her a grave yet, bc the ground is frozen , so she is still at the vet. your going to miss your dog for a long time, and she will always be in your heart, but only time will heal you. right now, you gonna go back through everything and think.... if only i did this, or if only i could have did this, but you cant. you couldnt do anything differently, it happened, and nothing will change that. eventually u will be able to look back onto how good of a dog she was and all of the memories you had with her. it was not your fault, trust me ive gone through a week of what ifs, and you just have to know, shes up there waiting for you again until you meet again.

Your pain will get easier over time. I think that it's good that your dad burried the dog at home. That is not only your home it was the only home she knew too. You can always look after her and keep flowers on the grave. I know it sounds crazy but you can go out there and talk to her anytime you want to.
Did she love you? of course she did and she would always want to be with you...and now she is. Things happen for a reason... and it might of been that she would have got more sick and more sick to where you couldn't handle it nor seeing her in pain...so this is probably bitter sweet in the since that she could of got worse and had a long painful death. God knows what he is doing and trust me there is a reason behind this.

Don't blame yourself at all. There was nothing you could do to help her. Sometimes things happen that we can't control but the best thing to do is to remember her. Maybe she was thinking something else like 'Natalie thank you for loving me'. It will take time to heal a broken heart but keep in mind that she is not suffering anymore. Have you ever heard about Rainbow Bridge. Supposedly, when we die we go to Heaven but before we get there we cross Rainbow Bridge which is were all of our pets will be waiting for us. I'm sure she's happy now but always keep her in your heart. Don't think that you have to replace her or you have to forget about her to feel better. This is just one of lifes lessons that you have to learn from and use it to grow. Don't worry. The hurt won't last forever. I would recommend maybe volunteering at an animal shelter to keep you busy. I'm sure it would make your dog happy and you will feel so much better helping other animals. It helps me to know that even when one thing happens that I can't help with there are a million other things out there I can help with. Good luck and I wish you the best.

It will take time for you to get over the loss of your dog. I say this because I can tell by your story that you loved her very much. Try to remember the fun times you had with Jenna and how much you loved each other, and try, even though it may hurt, to be grateful that you had such a wonderful pet. I know how you feel because I saw one of my dogs drown many years ago when she and my other dog were playing in the lake near my house.

I know how you feel. I know when a pet is lost that people feel terrible, guilty, etc, because you feel that the animal asked for the sort of help you couldn't give. I think you must focus on the good memories with her, that's what she'd like. Also, you must think that she had a happy life with you, and after her life was worse because of the sickness, God took her in a quick way, and she didn't suffer long. Her grave must remind you of the dog, the good times, not her death. Also, you can adopt another dog who needs your help, in her name. Remember that she wants you to be happy and she is in heaven now.

My cat jLove Muffin just died last week. It was really sad becasue the cat was only a year younger than me(im 19). I took it to the vet and they said it should of been put down a month ago. It had some weird infection on its face. So they gave her a shot and I got to hold her when they gave it to her. I petted her and she pured and pured until she drifted off to sleep. Im just glad she lived such a long full life and that so many people had a chance to meet such a wonderful creature

I know what you are going through. I watched as my brother backed over my dog in his car, and she tried to get up and she broke her back, and she died a few minutes later. I had this image playing over and over again in my head for the longest time. I think deep down Jenna knew that it was her time to go. She lived a happy life and she knew that you loved her. She is in a better place now. Time is the biggest healer. My dog died over six years ago and I still tear up whenever I think about what happened but I think of all the happy times we had together and I know that she had a good life.

I am soo sorry for your loss. We lost our chocolate lab back in November to cancer. We all miss her very much. It will take time for u to heal. Just know that your doggie is no longer suffering. Shes up in doggie heaven free of diabetes and running around. Remember all the good times u had with her not the bad. Hope this helps! Take care!

very best thing to do ! is get another one now and why because thats what your dog wants you to do so that you feel good again so then your dog can rest in peace . the accident was a bad thing to happen but also she wasn't really thinking maybe because she or he was sick .but anyway dogs are so devoted to the owner that they want them to be happy all the time so do it for your dog get another one fast and love it so much .
