i've been looking at mp3 players and digital cameras,theyre pretty cheap but they're refubrished so do refubrished products work?

Most of the time they do.

I worked at Office Max and if a customer comes in saying that her camera didn't come with a manual my manager told me to get a new camera and give her the new manual and then D&D (Damaged and Defective) the whole camera

There was NOTHING wrong with it. Except the manual was missing cause we took it out.

This happens alot more than you think.... Printers, cameras, TV's, you name it..

Yes often times just as good as new....make sure the product you are buying was refurbished by the manufacturer....Good Luck!

refurbished products have scratches and dnets but for the most part work.

it depends who you buy it from.

buy items from powersellers on www.ebay.com

Actually Yes.

In some cases, they are better than new..
The problem is now fixed.
Also, they are cheaper.
Only you and the store will know the difference.
