why is christianity attacked so much when no other religions are attacked in schools and public places. its only christianity. why?

It may seem like Christianity is the only one attacked if you're a Christian. Trust me, I'm sure Buddhists, Muslims, etc. feel that they are the ones attacked. And mainly Christians are attacked in general b/c, as someone else said, they all try to convert those who don't want it. And so many of them are hypocrits, preaching love and acceptance while at the same time condemning anyone with a differing viewpoint. And of course then there are those who preach constantly that everyone else is bad, and then they're caught with their pants down (often literally).

Your question is inherantly flawed.
Some (but not all) forms of Christianity, as with the other Abrahamic faiths (Judaism and Islam) are hostile to any secular education and therefore view things like science, when taught in secular schools, as dangerous and attack first.
Often, Christians are attacked not for their Christianity, but for the way they express the intolerance of other faiths.
While it is wrong for anyone to be attacked, Christians in many countries have gone so far out of their way to alienate everyone else that they are now "sleeping in the bed they made."
A quick perusal of a secular news source, however, will probably show that Abrahamicists of the Islamic branch of the family tree are the ones getting attacked the most, although at least in the US most people who are attacked for their beliefs are attacked for secular ones, like the belief that gays shouldn't hide or color shouldn't matter.

I think all religions get "attacked" but Christians deserve to be.. They come banging on my door regularly,looking for another convert. You can't answer a simple question in this site without the Christian element stating all sorts of things about their God and it really has nothing to do with the question... Basically they bring it on themselves , I find them so brainwashed that when they are confronted with a truth they have to search for some inane passage from their Bible to try and discredit it... Ever notice when something goes wrong that they say God moves in mysterious ways and when something nice happens , it's a miracle... I say wake up to yourselves, there is a lot more to life and death and the Universe than what's in your very small little world.......

Plenty of other religions are attacked, you just only notice Christianity. Plus, Christianity is attacked often because Christians try to convert everyone within earshot.

Where where you when Islamic mosques were being shot at and stoned and desecrated after 9-11?
you need to read the newspapers more little girl.
Christianity isn't being attacked in schools...religion isn't ALLOWED in school or any government-sponsored place or event. ANY religion, not just christianity.
Athiests didn't stone and spit on women going to get a LEGAL medical procedure performed on them. They didn't firebomb abortion clinics. They didn't murder doctors performing a LEGAL medical procedure. They didn't burn 'witches' at the stake. They didn't go to war over a land that wasn't even theirs. They aren't trying to push their religious values onto the rest of the country. So-called 'Christians' did and are doing all of these things.

I never see any other religious followers trying to force their idiotic beliefs on me through our laws. How many Buddhists have bombed women's clinics? Do Hindu's burn crosses in peoples yards? Have you seen a Wiccan trying to prevents homosexuals from marrying or adopting?
NO!
Ignorant Christians and Muslims have done those things.

You Christians whine more then any other 80 groups combined. You are the majority in the nation. You control nearly everything. Stop with the persecution garbage already.
I attack it for three primary reasons.....
1. Christians have killed Jews for 1700 years. Sorry...and apology won't cut it.
2. Christians are the ones ramming their beliefs into the schools and the laws. When Hindus try to make me worship Shiva in school...I'll go after them.
3. The fundamentalist theology of if you're not saved, you;re going to hell is insane, dangerous, and evil. It is sick. It is sick to teach children that they will burn in hell eternally for mortal..hence temporary....sin. It is also sick to teach that you can be forgiven for anything. It's like the great hallway pass in the sky.

Dear, My reason for not coming down hard on other religions is that no other religion is attempting to legislate their religion into my laws and my kid's school. I will fight that attempt until the day I die.
You can have your beliefs. I couldn't care less what you believe, just keep me out of it.

because Christianity has a very nasty habit of trying to force its beliefs on everyone else.
you say attack i say retaliation.
Christians simply are not happy unless everyone around them lives their perfect vision of their perfect lifestyle.
school is not a place for religion. and no religion is allowed to be an official part of any public school. but i do not see anybody but christians that has such a huge problem with this.
to many christians you claim that we persecute you because we do not allow you to persecute us.

Christianity (in america atleast) is like the Big Dog of religions, It climbed its way to the top and didn't get htere peacefully mind you.
Its a large religion that pushes its "truth" *cough* bulsh!t excuse for made up history *cough*
No other religion in america is a PUSHY, INTOLERANT, FASCIST, and PIG HEADED. than the christianity believed in by our parents and grandparents.
luckily its loseing follwers (to teacch it humility, it needs that now), learning tolerance, and recogniseing the history of its pagan roots.
Christianity in a nutshell is a bully of a religion, and now slowly is getting its @ss kicked.
(look at histroy and you will see "god" is a new concept if anything, and "jesus" is a pagan repitition of a pagan "hero story"
