(Matthew 16:27) "For the Son of Man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works."
But the Baptists can reward you with spontaneous salvation, and your works don't matter. All you have to do is say "Hallelujah!" and "Lord Lord!"
Could it be that the Baptists have a better idea than Jesus?
I think so. I'm a busy guy, and spontaneous salvation suits me better than Jesus' method.
Any comments?

Yes, the Baptists have a better idea then Jesus.

Spontaneous salvation, that is excellent; and I too am glad they come up with that one. It is very convenient and suitable.

I never did think that sins were all that important anyway. Only the really egregious sins should be punished.

If you really believe that you can quote a scriptural thought and not answer for your works as quoted in that scripture then you have missed the whole point and will end up just as the people did in Noah's day.

Christians salvation is not based on never committing a sin. No one can live sinless, it is not in anyone to be perfect. So, we are not judged by God regarding "how Good" we have been. However, we are judged on our "good works", for rewards in Heaven. God gives each person a gift to use in life. If you used your gift to better the world, God judges how well you did and you get a reward. If your motives were less than honourable than no reward. But you are not sent to Hell.

If you believe in Jesus Christ, then that work alone may save you, according to John 3:16.
The Bible also makes reference to "not by works, lest any man should boast", but we are asked to visit the widows, and those imprisoned, to not be selfish with our things, and share all we have.
We may never know the mindset, or exact things we must, so by grace we are saved.
I look forward to meeting you in Heaven.
God bless.

The Almighty YHVH set up a system. He sent His “Son” YAHOSHUA to die for the sins of mankind so they would not have to. (They could choose to, but did not have to). Any person who chooses not to allow Yahoshua to take care of their sins, chooses to remain attached to their sins. They thus will wind up in the lake of fire which is YHVH’s method of cleaning this world, and eliminating sin and sinners. The Creator set aside the Seventh day for rest and worship. Yes that is the day usually called “Saturday”. We are not saved by obedience, we are saved by faith. However we are saved FOR obedience. As He said in John 14:15 (and in many other places) “If you love me, keep my commandments.
