Tell your teacher to get out of your love life and mind her own business

The best thing you can do is to tell your reading teacher that you are sorry you wrote the note in class, but that you really like the guy and didn't know how to tell him. Next, you can say that it was intended to be a private note and you didn't intend for it to cause a problem. Next, promise to your teacher that you won't do it again, and whether you mean it or not, at least seem sincere. As a parent who is currently dealing with teacher issues for my OWN child, I can tell you that most teachers want to know that kids accept responsibility for themselves and for what they do, without making too much of an excuse. All they are really concerned about is that you aren't doing something that is distracting to you or others in class. If you can show your teacher that you are sorry and that you won't be a distraction in the future, hopefully things will go well for you.

Personally, as a parent, I think the school is making too much out of this and they need to leave you alone about it. Still, since you have to go to school and be able to get along with your teachers, the above approach should help you. Good luck! Oh - I hope your crush feels the same way about you too, but please be careful about "sex talk". There is WAY more to a relationship than sex, and it should be reserved for the right time.

Definately not how smart you are. One should capitalize the letter I when it's used in that sentence. More than likely if the note involved sexual comments, and you're not of age... 18 or older, then the teacher might be having a conference with your parents as well as you.

I'm sure when your reading teacher was in school he/ or she wrote their share of love notes during class. When you talk to your teacher, apologize for using class time for personal business. It's really no big deal.
