They're still around. Apparently, they feature at No.3 in Walker's Top Ten most popular crisps & they sell them in the supermarkets.

My local Poundland have Quavers in a 10 bag multipack for (yep - you guessed it!) £1.
I buy them for hubby to take as part of his lunch. I hope you don't go to my local Poundland & buy them all!!!!
