ok so i have been trying to get together with this guy for the past month and the day of the date he breaks it off maybe an hour to an half hour before the date....i dont get it..we hang out at school together and have great conversations but when it comes to him coming over like we had planned the last two times he breaks it off at the last minute....why?? is he scared or what

They don't like commitment, that is what most everyone is afraid of. If they actually go throught with something, the other person maybe expecting something. It is like that about other things as well,not just guys.... I have done that to a guy, probably for the same reason they do that, NOT wanting to be to involved... The attachment syndrome...

HI THERE MAYBE HE IS A BIT SCARE OR JUST DOES NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO . WHY NOT ASK HIM WHY HE BROKE UP THE DATE BUT IN PERSON SO THAT U MAY SEE HIS REACTION. DO NOT BE HARSH ON HIM MAYBE HE NEVER DATED A GIRL BEFORE. AND TRY TRY TO UNDERSTAND HIM ONLY IF THE EXCUSE IS WORTH IT BUT IF U SEE THAT IT IS NOT THEN THERE IS NO TRUST IN THIS MAN .APART FROM HIM IF THAT MAY BE THE CASE.

Could be scared, but more than likely... he's involved with someone else that he knows a little better than you. I recommend that you go see him. Me? I love a woman that takes control sometimes. That's why I dated older women when I was younger. They know exactly what they want and are not scared to tell me.

it maybe cos he's scared and unsure but i personally think that he's trying to play you so that you'd keep asking him out. im guessing that he's been cancelling a few times so what you should do next time you two make a date or watever is you tell him; "are you coming this time cos if your not then just say so, so that i can make other arrangements". that will make him think again :P

Maybe he is kind of scared. Remember, guys don't grow up and mature as fast as girls do. Maybe for now you should just keep it a friendship, especially since you have great conversations.

Well maybe he doesn't know whether he really likes you or not. Or maybe he is very shy about people seeing you and him together. Or of course he just wants to be friends. But ask him and find out.

I hate that. Probably scared. I like to give my dates notice in football injury terms. I won't say yes I will be there unless I know for sure that I can be there. If he is not sure he should say that his status is questionable.

Something Suddenly Came Up! Seriously, it sounds like he found something that he rather do than be with you so I'd find somebody who won't stand you up. That feels really bad when someone does you that way. Believe me, I know.
