I have a document I am putting together for a homework assignment. It looks like a lot of misspelled words to Word's really bad spell checker. How do I shut it off for this document?

On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Spelling & Grammar tab.

Then, select or clear the Check spelling as you type check box.

heres one way. when you have a misspelled word, you get a squiggly line underneath it. you can click on that and it will give you alternate spellings. however, you can also shut the spellcheck off. good luck!
