It depends. If the one that left feel uncomfortable being in the relationship & they're not faithful anymore then to them it's a relief, not pain & the one who got left would feel the pain, that's if he/she still loves that other person. This question is unexplainable because only those who are in the situation would know whether they're in pain or not. however, the one that GOT left feels both pain & betrayal at the same time while the one that left might only feel guilt therefore guilt can cause pain too, it doesn't necessarily have to be a broken heart

I think they both feel the pain, I don't think you can be with someone a long time and not think of the them and have pain no matter who left who. That person was in your life and you'll always, I don't care the reason for the split, always have a small place in your heart for them. You'll hear their name or just a song will bring back maybe not a love memory, but a memory of that person , because at onetime they was your love.

depends on the situation... If it's not a bad break up sometimes both feel some hurt as well as if it was a bad break up usually the one who left the person after calming down may get the urge to call the person but don't so it's depends really on how you two seperate and how long you guys were together also what was felt between the two of you

I think in most cases, if there was ever any real love between the two people involved, then the break up of the relationship hurts both people. You have to remember that people leave relationships for many different reasons, it doesn't mean that they no longer love that person, but sometimes love just isn't enough.

Most of the time, both people feel the pain. It is a sense of loss for both parties. Some people just tolerate pain better and are better able to move on from it.

well the one who left has made plans and it was there call but im sure they still feel bad but in a differnt way there aint nothing like being the one who gets dumped though cant compare the 2 . some how we all get over it and if you have a hard time doing soo gather with friends and the ones who really love you it all helps and it takes time when you love someone to just not have them the next day but dont dweel over it cause it can eat you up inside DONT LET IT!

Both, absolutely. The one who is left, I believe, feels more pain because they most likely do not understand why they were left. However, both feel the pain of breaking up.

I would say both feel the pain. When I left my partner of 3yrs I was glad I did it and although I felt sad it was a good sad if you know what I mean. sometimes people have to move on. no point staying in a hopeless relationship.

If it was a real relationship, both parties usually feel the pain, even though one may feel worse about the breakup than the other..
