Ok I have the same problem. What you need to get is Matrix Sleek Smoothing System. You can get it at most hair product stores.IT's about $15.00, but it is WAY worth it.It will last you about 2-3 months. It says that it is for straightening, but it works really good without having to do it.

First, get this product called Cholesterol (a hair care product). You put it on your hair and let it set for awhile (I don't remember how long). Do it once a week. It will help restore intense damage and hydrate your hair. For shamppos and conditioners, I would recommend Dove Intense Moisture. I have curly hair and it does wonders. To keep it from getting to frizzy, use a frizz serum or leave-in conditioner. You can also add mouse or gel while it's wet to help style. Don't brush or comb your hair while it's dry or it will get more poofy. Instead to get the tangles out, put the conditioner in your hair and let it set for a couple of minutes. Then run through it with a wide tooth comb.

Hope this helps.

Try a shampoo called Creme of Nature. It's usually by the African American hair products. Get the one that is a mositurizing conditioner. It will leave you hair soft and not dry at all.

I use Suave Professionals 2 in 1 plus shampoo&conditioner(the green/aqua bottle). It makes your hair really soft and shinny.
