we're not in a relationship, but would she mind? I'm getting her number from the school phonebook that everyone receives. Anything for me to say w/o making me creepy? Should I ask about school stuff then transition to personal things (her b-day date, favortie color)

Well, I think that it might be weird if some one from school called me and they got my number from the school phone book. Well, call her and talk about her b-day date.

Well it depends. Is she a friend? Just a classmate?
I'm assuming she's just a classmate so....
1. You could tell her that you want to start trying be friends at school. Than call her.
2. Talk about the lastest politics or bands and what not on Television
3. Tell some crazy story to lighten the mood
4. tell small jokes along the way
5. Talk about how your last birthday went then ask her about hers and get the date.

Don't do it, ask for her phone number at school, she doesn't need random people calling her and she will feel more comfortable knowing that she is the one that gave you her number.

That would make me think the guy was a stalker and creepy if he called me like that and I didn't know him, there is no way to get around that unless she gives you her number.

I would try to elicit her phone no. from her other than through this phonebook. Why not strike up conversation with her and suggest hanging out. If she says she'd like to, then give her your number or e-mail address. Put the ball in her court... Good luck and have fun!

Sorry to say but that is creepy. You should just talk to her its a why you want to and just tell her. Ask her what are her interests and hobbies and about school, but not anything personal it would early for that and yall might not be a good enough to tell personal things. Well good luck

NO

Never get a phone number out of a book. Only get the phone number directly from the woman you like. You might ask, "How can I get the nerve to ask for the number?" It's easy. Don't ask for the number directly. Here's what you say.

Look, sometimes guys like me are intimidated by beautiful women like yourself, but every time I look at your eyes, I see there's something behind those "blue, green, brown" eyes of yours and I would really like to get to know you. So do you have an email address? She'll usually give you her email address and since she said yes to that, she's in the yes mode. Write down her email address, then say "Ok, and your number?" Boom you got it.

If you just call her by getting her number out of the book, she's going to think you're a jweird guy or one who is not confident enough about who he is to ask for her number directly. She might not talk to you at all. Definately get her number from her before calling.

When she looks at you looking at her, smile. A smile means you're friendly, it perpetuates honesty and openness. It should make her want to smile back. When you get the smile you know you got her attention. Don't walk right up and say what I typed. You need to warm up to it. Most beautiful women have a flaw of some sort. They might not wear a certain type of clothing well, shoes might not go with outfit, hair might be wind-blown. Whatever her flaw is, bring it up with "Slap-stick humor". Like this.... You know I admire the bravery of a woman who will wear something like that to school. (If you're in school). She'll go what do you mean? Just laugh when you say it and say "Well, did you actually look in the mirror before you left the house?" Those shoes don't go with that skirt or whatever you're playing off as being Frank Sanatra's Brother.... Not so hotra! LOL
But you have to laugh about it or she will think you're just being a jerk. She'll more than likely say to herself "Who is this guy?" It absolutely works like a charm and gets the conversation going. Definately gets it going enough to pull the email and then the phone number.

Then don't email or call her immediately. Give it one day. Call her two days after you meet. Tell her you were about to email her and you wanted to double check the address. Then just talk about what's on her mind. The more she talks about things she likes, the more she will like you. Women like to talk and they love to talk about things that are important to them. So let her control the conversation at first. Then you take over later. BOOM you're in!

If you don't talk to her in person @ school, then don't hide behind a telephone..It would make you appear weak...Talk to her face to face first.Girls appreciate a guy with courage, and face to face demonstrates courage..Then,call her...but in person is best.
