There is no soul sleep of the righteous. Only the damned sleep in their graves. Those that have died in Christ now reside in heaven. Their spiritual bodies will result from the joining of their heavenly natures with their resurrected bodies at the second coming and final judgment. Those that are damned will join Satan in their separation from God in Hell.
Heaven and Hell were made out of God's love towards mankind. God gives you Free Will, his revelation in nature, your mind, and in the Bible. You have been given all the facts that you need and if you choose wrongly you get what you chose. You chose to seek after your own needs and desires, to reject a communion with your Maker, so He respectfully gives you what you have freely chosen.
C.S. Lewis:
"There are only two kinds of people in the end: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, in the end, 'Thy will be done.'"
1. Wouldn't everyone repent when faced with hell?
2. Would God let out people who repented?
One argument against hell is this: No person in his right mind would choose eternal punishment in hell over heaven. Therefore everyone would repent when sent to hell. If God lets the repentant leave, hell will be empty (and therefore can be disregarded). If God doesn't let the repentant leave, God is unjust for continuing to punish them after they've repented.
The trouble with this line of reasoning is that repentance is not simply a matter of one saying, "Okay, I'll say whatever you want me to, just get me out of here!" Repentance involves acknowledging one's guilt, feeling remorse and the desire to change one's behavior, accepting Christ's sacrifice as substitutionary punishment for one's wrongs and agreeing to love and obey God (including Christ as God the Son). This includes by definition acceptance of eternal punishment in hell as just punishment for one's sins; while the skeptic may still object that continued punishment of the repentant is unjust, the repentant will respond that their continued punishment is deserved and could only end through God's mercy.
However, in reality people in hell won't repent, in particular not any skeptic who makes the above argument. If one thinks God is unjust for punishing people in hell, actually going there isn't going to make one suddenly decide that God is just and deserves one's love and worship after all. People are given their entire lives on Earth as an opportunity to repent and accept God; if they refuse each day of their lives to repent and believe they're justified in doing so, it's hardly conceivable that punishment in hell would change their minds.
Since hell is comprised of those who would never repent, the second question is only a hypothetical one; it could be argued either way. In practice, someone who would repent in hell would be given the opportunity to repent on Earth and would presumably repent before they died, not after.
As for etermal punishment for finite life of sin:
The answer is this our sin bears an eternal consequence because it is ultimately against an eternal God. When King David committed the sins of adultery and murder he stated, Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight (Psalm 51:4). David had sinned against Bathsheba and Uriah, how could David claim to have only sinned against God? David understood that all sin is ultimately against God. God is an eternal and infinite Being. As a result, all sin is worthy of an eternal punishment.
An earthly example of this would be comparing attacking your neighbor and attacking the President of the United States. Yes, both are crimes, but attacking the President would result in far greater consequences. How much more does sin against a holy and infinite God warrant a terrible consequence?

There are alot about what happens after you die in my religion.
I'm a shiat Muslim and the following are what I believe in:
When someone dies and are placed in their graves they are scared of being alone the first night. So there is a prayer that we say at their grave or at home to give them the strength not to be scared.
The first thing that happens is that the angels would come to you and ask you questions. Who was your god? Who was your prophet? etc.
If you have sinned alot, your grave would be very tight and you would feel the pressure until the world comes to an end.
If people come visit your grave and pour water on your grave stone, it is said that this will take away your thirst.
And it is said that people who sin less than others, their bodies will decompose slower than others.
Also it is said that on Friday nights, the dead will visit the house they lived in before their death. They are prohibited of making any contact with the alive ones. But they will be very happy to see that the lights in their house are on. This means that the alive ones haven't forgotten them.

When I die, others will still be alive getting on with their lives. Perhaps I'd like to think some may mourn my demise, but that will depend on what I did in life. When I die, I shall be no more, so I won't be conscious and therefore I won't be in a position to know what happens following my death. So there is no point worrying about it.

well your body dies but your soul goes through the legendary tunnel of bright white light where angels, family member's,pets, and everyone who has died(who believes in God)has gone to and where everyone is in their 30's and it's a magnificent replica of earth except without negativity or trash more beautiful than anything on earth with lush gardens, flowing rivers, no insects except butterflies of multiple color and fireflies. Where the buildings are Romanesque and better than any architecture on earth. Where we are capable of 100% mental capacity and can live almost anywhere we chose. Or if you're a dark entity you'll go to "Noir" where dark entities reside and is also called the "Left Door." If you're a gray entity you'll be held in quarantine. This is a brief description of what happens after death and I believe this because I know God is loving.

You decompose. If you believe the Bible, your soul dies with your body and the Spirit of Life, which we share with all living things, neither being greater than the other, fades. What you were in life, based on the true sense of your heart and not just what you profess to be, is either recorded, or not, in the Book of Life.
Since there is nothing left, nothing goes to Heaven. At least not until after the resurrection just like it was with Christ. Of course if you are better than Christ, than perhaps you get a free ride.
If you are Born Again of the Holy Spirit, than upon your resurrection, you receive a Spiritual body, just like Christ, into which all the data recorded in the Book of Life is downloaded and you ascend.
If you are not Born Again, but are of the “Other Sheep not of this fold”, than you take part in the Second Resurrection of Revelations, whereby you receive a perfect human body, like Adam or Christ, into which all the data in the Book of Life is downloaded. This is similar to what Christ experienced when he was baptized and gained the knowledge of his pre-existence.
If you are not entered into the Book of Life, you still get resurrected, if only briefly, to receive your declaration of judgement, just like the fallen angels. There after, you cease to exist, even in the minds of those living from your time.

Dont really know...Only one way to find out lol All religion is just speculation and stories passed down through generations...I believe there is a God who made this all because the Big Bang Theory just doesnt cut it for me about the creation of everything. I think God just wants us all to do the best we can and be good to each other while were here. Our real father in "Heaven" wouldnt love us only because we do what the bible says...Just like our real dads, he loves us no matter what the mistakes we make are...Its unconditional and THAT is true love from the father!

You're judged at the pearly gates. If you've accepted Christ as your personal savior and led a Christian life you will proceed to heaven. If you do not accept Him the you will proceed to hell.
I'm converting to Catholocism right now and going through the RCIA process. If you want the Lord in your life, all you have to do is want Him there and then ask Him to come in.
What happens to the body? Your body will do one of two things - rot in the ground or be turned to ashes via cremation. Or you could spend a ton of money and have it frozen.

What happens to the body? It is either buried or cremated and eventually becomes part of the dirt again.
What happens to the soul? It exists in an alternate realm of reality - which is a true reality in comparison to life in a body. If you want, you can get a new body and be "reborn". In my opinion, there is no death, just a cycle of being with or without a body.

I think the body goes into the ground but at the return of Christ, our body will be resurrected with our spirit. I do think I have read something that supports that, but I can't remember offhand. My knowledge from Our Father comes from my heart and then I have to find it in Scriptures to be sure that it's true.

Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)
