Im looking for drink ideas for a soiree.

Open whiskey bottle (any variety preferably Scotch),
Pour into glass.
Jack Daniels, Hot Damn, and Cherry Coke are very good together, along with orange flavored liquor and apple cider, apple vodka with apple juice, rasberry vodka with cranberry juice, & lemon flavored liquor with pink lemonade.

Well mine is a bloody mary, but that's not exactly a party drink. Here's my next favorite:
Melonball
In a pint glass packed to the top with ice, put 2 oz. Midori, 2 oz. Malibu, fill almost to the top with pineapple juice, and float a teensy bit of half and half or cream on top. Don't stir, let them do that. It's really pretty and really good. You can't even taste all the booze.

Margaritas are fun for a party, oops I mean soiree, you can get different flavored mixes at the store.

for a party, i would keep it simple. don't give them too many choices, because one, it's more expensive to have to provide different alcohols and mixers, and two, creates a bigger mess to clean up ... so my suggestion to you is to pick two easily mixed alcohols, like vodka and maybe some captain morgan.
for the vodka, you can have orange juice, ginger ale and cranberry juice.
and for the captain, you can have ginger ale (which you'll ALREADY have for the vodka) and coke.
simple is best, and these are very common drinks ... most people can't say no to at least one of those mixtures.

killer koolaid
( i free pour so these are suggestions)
1oz each: blue curacao, melon liqueur, amaretto and vodka
cranberry juice and 7up
build over ice and add 3/4 cranberry and 1/4 to 1/3 7 up depending if you like the fizz or not. you can omit the 7up all together and it still tastes good.
the end product should resemble grape koolaid.

dirty martini:
1 1/2 shot grey goose vodka
1 shot olive juice
pour in chilled shaker with ice and pour into chilled glass with 2 olives.
Vodka and Crangrape juice..equal measures or to your own preference

get a bottle of wild turkey bourbon whiskey 1 liter.. and 1 liter pepsi.. then take a shot of whiskey then chase it with a shot of pepsi.. helps it go down.. or just drink both straight...
